Two Mount Crested Butte properties of high interest are under contract that bear watching for their development value. One is located at the Snodgrass trailhead, and was known as the “North Village”. The other is located in the upper reaches of the Prospect neighborhood, near the top of the Prospect chairlift.
During a Grand Traverse Ski race from Crested Butte to Aspen, Krista also started to think about making energy gels and energy powdered drinks with maple syrup. She talks about those products and even lets us in on a product that she hasn’t quite released yet.
Andy Eflin was born in Crested Butte the same year the ski area started- 1961. His dad, Dick Eflin, started the resort, along with Fred Rice. Class sizes were just a bit smaller back then- Andy had only one other kid in his class and eventually he attended school in Gunnison, as Crested Butte students did through the 1990’s.
Wilderness Streams is a gated subdivision in the upper Ohio Creek valley, approximately 20 miles north of Gunnison. Home owners in the area love the quiet, secluded feeling of this special subdivision.
Taking a year-to-date perspective, unit sales are down slightly (2%), while dollar volume is down slightly more, at 6.3%. As I’ve mentioned before, many buyers have turned to vacant land which has dropped the dollar volume (and if you look around today, you’ll see cranes everywhere, since many of those land buyers are now building homes).
