The first month of 2021 continued the trends of late 2020, with 66 sales and a dollar volume of $51.8M,
109 real estate transactions occurred last month, with a total dollar volume of $80.6M. Last year had been a record, with 51 transactions, so 2020 more than doubled last year’s pace.
I should start off by saying that I certainly don’t have a crystal ball- I unquestionably wouldn’t have guessed what 2020 would turn out to be at this time last year. But I do spend a lot of time looking at what’s happening in the Gunnison and Crested Butte real estate market.
92 real estate transactions, totaling $77.4M, took place last month. Compare that to 46 sales/ $29.5M in the Crested Butte/Gunnison area last year.
