Crested Butte was recently crowned the best ski town in North America in a vote of Powder magazine readers, beating out 64 other contestants. Was it the authentic mining town, the fantastic dining, the unbeatable terrain, or the uncrowded slopes that won the event for Crested Butte? Who knows. There are so many reasons I call this place home, and any of them could be considered a reason to vote Crested butte # 1.
