One of Crested Butte’s newest condominium complexes is Timbers. The building originally dates from 1999 as employee housing, but by 2016 it had been stripped to the studs and completely remodeled into the condos that you see today. Tastefully decorated and with a design that maximizes the space, the condo units sold out relatively quickly and we’re now starting to see some of those original owners sell their condos.
Timbers features a large parking lot, elevator, and a great hot tub with views of the mountain. Other amenities include a dog washing station, community bicycle repair stand, ski tuning bench, storage lockers and more. The modern decor, ample amenities, and central location have helped to make these condos some of the better rental units in the area.
Getting to the ski area and transportation center is easy from Timbers. A roughly 5 minute walk takes you to the base area, or the year round free shuttle route is located just a couple of minutes away. Half of this building faces the ski area with great views from the condo, or better yet, from the deck.
