Top 3 Timberline Condominium Features
The Timberline condos are located near the slopes at Crested Butte Mountain Resort, but they are not ski in ski out. When the free condo loop bus shuttle is running during ski season, there is a stop right at the parking lot entrance of the condo complex, so it’s easy to catch the shuttle to the ski area, the transportation center, and other bus routes leading to downtown Crested Butte or even Gunnison. In the summer, hikers and mountain bikers will enjoy the easy access to trails at the ski area or the nearby “Upper Loop” trail. Timberline is often one of the more affordable condo options on the mountain, both in pricing as well as HOA dues. Speaking of the HOA, it seems to be well-run, with recent upgrades to the parking lot retaining wall and decks. This complex does not have a hot tub or other similar amenities that may be found at other condo buildings, something to keep in mind if those are “must have’s”. Units at Timberline range from smaller one bedroom options all the way up to spacious 4 bedroom condos.
The dirt parking lot at Timberline is spacious, unlike some other condo complexes. The elevated location of the buildings, high above both the parking lot and road, offer spectacular views looking to the West and great sunsets from the condos that face that direction. As of 9/22/2022, there have been nine sales in the previous two years, with an average sales price of $422,000. Other condos to take a look at if you’re interested in Timberline include Chadlington House, Whetstone Village, and Three Seasons. Timberline building “A” is located at 60 Hunter Hill Road, Mount Crested Butte, CO 81225, while building “B” is located at 32 Hunter Hill Road.
