I’m so happy I was able to find Paul and Kim a home here in the Gunnison Valley. They experienced all the “joys” of the 2021 real estate market, but never gave up hope. Those “joys” included losing out to absurdly high cash offers. That was followed up by a low appraisal on a house they were under contract to buy. It was a strange one, as if the appraiser had a personal beef with the builder…
Then they got another low appraisal on another property, ugh- this time with an out of area appraiser trying to use sales that were over a year old! Thankfully they were able to hit the reset button and are happily home in Crested Butte now.
I’m glad I was able to be a part of the process and helped them “keep the faith”, which can be hard in the competitive real estate market were currently in. I’m also happy they appreciated my “quick wit”, which can be a good thing when things get stressful 🙂
